Just took delivery of my new EK blocks.

Post #1 by 1Day » Thu Jul 17, 2014 11:25 am

Thanks to EK for supporting the forum. I have just received my two new EK blocks and will be using them for a new benching rig. Was going to be going with a different vendor but since you guys have stepped up I felt you warranted a quick order.

Full 7970Lightning Water block
New CPU block and the EK Water Blocks EK- X-RES 140 with a D5 pump.

Once the card is under water I will see what kind of numbers I can get out of her for the team.

I am still not sure if I should get on the nVid train as yet. I had two Titans but hardly used them and sold them. They clocked like dogs :D

Plexi looks superb..

It's a shame that the block/cooler side of cards are always face down :(

Yep, Normally you have the main door/tray on the left as you face the front but with this XSPC H2 case, it reverses everything, so it is on the right and this flips the mobo upside down, so the CPU is at the bottom and the GPUs at the top.

I will be building the system in a Carbide Series Air 540, there will be a separate loop for the CPU and VGA. Still have not decided which CPU to use for the build as yet. OverFienD you and I can walk each other through the process I think.
